Design Thinking for Social Innovation describes Design Thinking – a human-centred approach to innovation that brings together what is desirable from a human point of view with what is technologically feasible and economically viable – and its process of three overlapping spaces of inspiration, ideation and implementation and explores the growing interest in utilizing this approach to generate new solutions to complex social issues.

The Human Centred Design Toolkit and website support the application of design thinking in social systems by providing a range of design thinking processes and tools that have been developed specifically for NGOs and social enterprises.
