In a world of unpredictable change, What Canada needs most

Yesterday, Paul Born and I spent some time with our colleagues at the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation sharing the Vibrant Communities story.  We gave them copies of the new publication by Tamarack - Cities Reducing Poverty - and they provided us with a new publication - Resilience - In a World of Unpredictable Change, What Canada needs most is Reslience - you can download the publication through this link.  (http://www.mcconnellfoundation.ca/en/resources/publication/resilience)

Resilience profiles the innovative work of organizations in Canada trying to change communties.  It follows four big ideas - inclusion, sustainability, active citizenship and innovation.  For those of you attending the workshop on community innovation at CCI - there are strong parallels here.

I would recommend reading through this publication and thinking big.  There are opportunities for all of us to build greater resilience into our practice.
