The Collective Impact Summit is an unprecedented opportunity to accelerate your effectiveness at leading and implementing a Collective Impact approach to realize its full potential in your community.
As a participant of this Gathering, you will join a unique peer learning community that emphasizes both theory and practice. You will: participate in small group discussions (learning labs); be inspired by world-renowned thought leaders; engage in highly-participatory and practical workshops; and, learn and share case studies that illustrate Collective Impact in action. In addition, the Summit will offer daily “Tips and Tools” sessions provide you with plenty of resources that you can take home and apply immediately.
World-renowned thought-leaders who will be featured at the event include:
- Melody Barnes, John Kania, Fay Hanleybrown, Brenda Zimmerman, Jay Connor and Liz Weaver.
The Collective Impact Summit is designed for those who:
- Are eager to accelerate the impact of their community change initiative and align their work in support of large-scale systems change.
- Establish and work with a backbone structure
- Currently work on complex issues such as: community health and well-being, poverty reduction, housing, environmental sustainability, neighborhood revitalization, crime prevention, local food systems, youth or aboriginal engagement and other collective impact ideas.
- Are working at any stage in a collective impact effort: start up, formation, growth or renewal.
- Are alumni of Tamarack’s previous Collective Impact or Communities Collaborating Institute gatherings
- Are policy makers or key supporters of collective impact work: including businesses; funders; national, provincial or regional governments; or intermediary organizations
- Manage or volunteer with a collective impact initiative or roundtable
- Want to accelerate their understanding of collective impact and receive a certificate to acknowledge their collective impact learning
