Design Thinking for Social Innovation

Thursday, August 9, 2012
Speakers
Cameron Norman
Location
via conference call

Dr. Cameron Norman spends more time reading and thinking about 'the big picture' than most people. That big picture is all about the systems (e.g., organizations, communities, health care systems) we create and how they influence our health. On this call Cameron will create the link between design thinking (a blend of systems thinking and complexity science) and social innovation. Cameron is the Principal of CENSE Research + Design, Assistant Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He brings together the science of systems, behaviour change and health promotion, and design to create more beneficial and innovative spaces for everyone. Join with Cameron on this call as he shares about social innovation and design thinking. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion towards the end of the interview.
