In Module #4 – A New Orientation to Evaluation, participants at the 2013 Evaluating Community Impact Workshop are introduced to the concept of evaluative thinking, common biases that interfere with evaluation. The practice of Utilization-Focused Evaluation is profiled and the distinction between program and community change evaluation is profiled and explored. Finally, some guiding principles and methodologies for this work are shared.
