At the recent Collective Impact Summit I hosted a panel discussion on Building Trust and Sustaining Momentum with Key Stakeholders. So what did we learn? Here are the big ideas for building trust and sustaining momentum that shone through in the discussion:

There are so many cool technologies out there that enable us to do more…way more…in terms of how we engage the community. There are social media integrations, dynamic polling, geo-mapping, data visualization, crowdsourcing, online decision-making, and all of these technologies enable us to go both broader and deeper than we could before.

A few weeks ago Google announced the launch of Google for Nonprofits in Canada. We’ve spent the last couple of years green with envy over the wonderful benefits our US friends are receiving from Google and now we’re thrilled that the program is available north of the border!

This week the Toronto Star featured an article on the newest Ashoka Fellows – the visionaries in our midst, the people with bold ideas, the trailblazers – and we at Tamarack are so proud that Paul Born has been recognized for his approach to addressing complex social issues by capitalizing on the power of local collaboration.
